Welcome to Week/Update 8 of our Modern French Kitchen Renovation with the One Room Challenge where today we talk about our dreamy, apron BLANCO sink! This is the FINAL post BEFORE the BIG REVEAL tomorrow morning! YAHOO! We are almost there, friends!
Again, if you haven’t checked out the previous updates, please do so here:
Today we are thrilled to share our last, but certainly not least, brand partner – BLANCO Canada. This isn’t our first time working with BLANCO – we first introduced you guys to them back in 2018 when we renovated our laundry room, when we installed the Liven laundry sink.,
While that sink is beautiful and works perfectly for a laundry sink, I had actually really wanted an apron sink in that space. However, once we started doing the renovation, we quickly realized that it just wouldn’t fit in the space. So I tucked away the apron sink idea for when we could renovate our kitchen.
So, it should come as no surprise that when we started planning this kitchen renovation, we went straight to BLANCO Canada and got the apron front sink!
Specifically we selected the IKON 33 1 3/4 Low Divide apron sink in white. For a kitchen sink, I really wanted to have two separate areas in the sink – one for dirty dishes and one for clean, so this low divide option was perfect! I also love the design of the sink – a modern feel to a classic design!
The BLANCO Canada IKON sinks are all made in Canada made of SILGRANIT which is a non-porous, high-quality granite composite which is heat, scratch and stain resistant!
I find that the BLANCO IKON apron sink fits perfectly into this transitional design – it acts as a statement piece with it’s natural beauty and yet provides function for our everyday use. We still have to finish the custom piece around the sink, so stay tuned to see that in the final reveal!
Alright friends, that’s it! Come back tomorrow for the BIG REVEAL! We are still finishing up a few things and can’t wait to share the final space with you!
Love & Blessings,
