    Colourful Fruit-Flavoured Ice Cream Floats

Summertime is when many of us love to get together with our family and friends for a fabulous backyard party!

We all know that a party is never truly a good party without great eats, right?! From juicy burgers to yummy dips and delicious salads, the possibilities are endless for your summer party fare.

One area that I find I often overlook is the dessert. In a pinch, I often think of popsicles or a sliced up watermelon because they are quick to prepare and easy to make.

However, this summer, why not try to “Wow” your kids with a special sweet ice cream treat?! Whether served on its own or included in the yummiest dessert recipe, Great Value has some exciting new flavours such as Superlicious, Birthday Cake and Cowmooflage ice creams that I picked up at my local Walmart! Did your mouth just water a little? Cause mine sure did!

Today, I want to share with you one of the easiest and prettiest ice cream treats that is sure to leave your guests wanting more. What makes this four-ingredient recipe even greater is that it’s very hands-on. Just set out the ingredients, some cups and an ice cream scoop and let your guests get creative with this delicious fruit-flavored ice cream float.

Now tell me that these don’t look absolutely delicious! The Great Value Superlicious Ice Cream is so tasty and pretty, but also available at a great price point, just $4.47 for a 1.5 litre tub. I also love the idea of having strawberry wafers on hand to garnish the drink. You could also grab some fresh fruit (think strawberries, pineapples and even watermelon slices), pre-made waffles, or go all out and grab some cotton candy to place on top of these floats. The options are truly endless so let your creativity and taste buds lead you!

Gather your friends and family this coming weekend for a summertime pool party and serve up a batch of these amazing ice cream floats! I guarantee that they will be the star of the party!

    Love & Blessings,
