A few weeks ago, one of my dear friends Jessica Glaze and I decided to pull together a kids Easter party, with our five children, as well as some of our favorite brands out there!
With Spring finally here, we wanted to celebrate Easter with our kids in a fun way with lots of white and light pastel colors. While we had thought about dyeing eggs, we figured that with five kids under the age of five, it might be better to just party with milk and cookies instead!
We were so blessed to have Wheat Canada outfit all five kids with their latest pieces from their spring collection! It’s not too often that my kids will INSIST on staying in their “dressy” clothing but literally, they did not want to take these clothes off! My daughter actually put BACK ON the tights (after we did a few pictures without them on)! Literally some of the softest and best made children clothing I’ve ever seen! And right now, they are having a special promotion that if you spend over $75 before taxes, you will receive a FREE 3-pack of their basic t-shirts using the code “springfresh.” (Offer valid until March 27th, 2016)
As I mentioned, we decided to do a cookies n’ milk party for the kids and I thought of non other than my friends custom sugar cookie business Sugar Sugar Ottawa. Are these not the most incredible sugar cookies you’ve ever seen?! Not only is the attention to detail absolutely incredible, but the creativity behind them is amazing! Our kids were HUGE fans of the bunny mouth masks-on-a-stick! Just adorable!
For flowers, I went straight to Laurel at Mint Floral Co, located in downtown Whitby. Not only is her storefront gorgeous, but her work is outstanding! She created an amazing table display for us, as well as wall treatment AND balloon garland with her fresh greenery! Absolute perfection!
Balloons are a must have for any of my events and this one was no different! We loved these pastel giant round balloons from Sugargirlee & Co. She has a promo going on right now as well where you can get free shipping Canada wide when you spend over $50, using the code “freeship50.”
I absolutely love things that are non-traditional and creative! So when I saw my friend Dannyelle from Life Is A Party DIY bunny treat bags, I knew we had to have them! Perfect for Easter treats and a chocolate egg scavenger hunt! Make sure to check out her tutorial for how to make them here.
And to capture it all, we knew we needed none other than the fabulous Elza from Elza Photographie! Her work with children is absolutely breathtaking and we knew that she would be perfect for this party!
If you missed my tutorial on how to make these super easy and extra adorable bunny ear floral crown, make sure to read all about it here.
