Ok, so I have a confession to make.
I’ve never watched Gilmore Girls before. YIKES! I can’t believe I just put that out there like that. But alas, it’s true.
But let me try to explain a little bit.
While Gilmore Girls ran from 2000 – 2007 on TV, I wasn’t watching a whole lot of television.
I moved out to British Columbia to go to college in 2001 and we actually moved into a brand new dormitory. This dorm didn’t have television for the first year or so. Even when it did get television, I found myself far too busy trying to keep up with both my studies and my social life. So I seriously went almost a solid four years, during my undergrad, without watching ANY TV.
As soon as I graduated in 2005, I got married, moved back across the country to a small town and started a new job. Again, while we had a small little tube TV, we really didn’t find ourselves watching much of it.
So you can pick your jaws back up off the floor and see that I had reasons why I held out on watching one of the most loved dramedies on TV!
Fast forward to 2016 and all of Facebook seems to have erupted into a collective cheer that Gilmore Girls is coming BACK, exclusively on Netflix!
And all of a sudden, I’m intrigued! While I’ve literally never seen one episode, I find myself now watching all the trailers, interviews and “best moments” from the show’s past. I think it’s safe to say, I’m hooked and that I’m pretty excited to binge watch, with the rest of North America, the new season coming out on Netflix TOMORROW!
So while I try to figure out who is who and who is WITH who (from the recaps I’ve watched it seems that a lot of boys came and went), I want to know if YOU are a huge Gilmore Girls fan? And if so, will you be binge watching it this weekend?!
