Today is my kids last day of school. To say I don’t know where the year went would be understatement. Maybe you’ve felt it too. And maybe you are just as unprepared for the school year to end as I am.
I’m embarrassed to admit it, but last night, I found myself at the store, franticly wandering every aisle, searching for four perfect teacher gifts. My kids each have two teachers: the main teacher and then an early childhood educator, in their classrooms. And both kids have both a male and a female teacher. Women teachers seem much easier to buy for. Just about anything from fancy hand soap to nail polish, a nice candle or lotion will do the trick. But for men, it takes a bit more effort to put something together that is both a) something they will appreciate and b) won’t break the bank.
So I wanted to share with you the two sets of gifts that I bought for their teachers. Gifts for your kids teachers don’t have to be laborsome nor do they need to be expensive. All four gifts that I purchased totalled LESS than $40 and I was able to put them together in no time flat!
For the female teachers, I found these super cute berry ceramic baskets and bought a fresh batch of strawberries to fill them with (Bonus points if you pick your own and fill it with that…but I didn’t have time). I love receiving any kind of dishware that I can display in my home from friends and so I thought this would be a nice gift that their teachers can use year round in their home and remember my amazing kids! HA!
You can find similar baskets, in various colors, here!
For the male teachers, I decided to go with a BBQ theme, because what man doesn’t love to get behind a grill?! I found these awesome mini BBQ wok’s that I thought would be perfect for grilling some side veggies this summer. I added in a gourmet BBQ sauce that they can add to just about any kind of grilled meat and for about $8 total, I have a really nice and practical gift that their male teachers will love.

All I have left to do is wrap these up with some cellophane and ribbon and deliver them to the school before it’s out for the summer!
